
Kwara lawmaker meets people of Ajikobi/Alanamu constituency
…promises good representation

A member of Kwara state House of Assembly, representing Ajikobi/Alanamu State Constituency, Hajia Tundun Babatunde Alanamu has assured people of her constituency of good representation towards providing dividends of democracy for all and sundry.
Hajia Alanamu said this today while meeting members of the All Progressives Congress from her Alanamu/Ajikobi constituency at Pakata LGEA Primary school, Ilorin.
The legislator while appreciating them for their support, promised to prioritise their needs and wellbeing by sponsoring bills that would be advantageous to them all.While donating a sum of five hundred thousand naira to party members that attended the political gathering, Hajia Alanamu asked them to support her with prayers to enable her deliver to them.
Also speaking, an elder of the party in the state, Alhaji Mustapha Kobe, sought the support of the people of Alanamu/Ajikobi constituency for the lawmaker in the task of delivering her mandate for the people.
The APC Party’s chairman from the constituency, Abubakar Babatunde, while appreciating Hajia Tundun Alanamu for meeting people of the constituency, also urged her to be a good ambassador of the people of the constituency and support all the laudable programmes of Governor Abdulrahman AbdulRasaq led administration.
Speaking on behalf of the people of Alanamu/Ajikobi constituency, the Ita Kudimo APC Zonal Chairman, Mr Lanre Akuji urged Hajia Tundun Alanamu to be meeting people of her constituency quarterly by giving them up to date information of her activities at the state house of assembly.
Mr Akuji also asked the legislator to ensure that projects attracted to the seven wards she is representing at the state house of assembly are awarded to indigenous contractors in each of the wards for adequate supervision.
The political gathering was attended by the State Secretary of APC, Alhaji Mustapha Ishowo, wards and zonal executive members of the party from the constituency, the General Manager of Radio Kwara, Alhaji Kayode Aremu, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Women Empowerment, Alhaja Monsurat Lawal, and Technical Adviser on Grassroots mobilisation to the Governor, Hajia Fahdlat Aduke Iya Eleja amongst others.
