
Strike: Cleric urges Tinubu to end FG-Labour impasse

The Federal Government under the leadership of President Bola Tinubu has been enjoined to act fast and address the lingering impasse between its and the Labour movement to check the pending strike and make life easier for Nigerians.
A Cleric, Doctor Joseph Agboluaje who gave the charge today in Ilorin while answering questions on a Radio Kwara interactive Yoruba programme “Gbagede Oro” called on the government to increase the minimum wage as the present salary can not take people home.
Doctor Agboluaje who is the Executive Secretary, ECWA Fate/Tanke DCC enjoined Nigerians to always give thanks in all circumstances and pray for the Nation to overcome its present challenges.
He expressed the believe that the Nation would be great again advising the leaders to do the needful and shun selfishness among others.
Doctor Agboluaje called on those in positions of authority to give special preference and attention to the welfare of the people especially Youth employment.
The Guest advised the Ondo State House of Assembly to follow due process and lay down rules in handling the impeachment process of the Deputy Governor.
He called on the Federal Government to reverse the high tuition fees in Nigerian Universities and start planning free education at all levels.
Callers on the programme urged the government to address the lingering insecurity in the Country to ensure the safety of lives and properties.
