The Kwara State Director of the National Orientation Agency (NOA), Alhaji Dare Abdulganiyu Olurotimi, on Wednesday led members of the agency’s management team on a condolence visit to the Oloffa of Offa, Oba Mufutau Gbadamosi Esuwoye II.
The visit followed the passing of the monarch’s beloved mother, Alhaja Hawawu Awele Gbadamosi, who died on April 5, 2025, at the age of 94.
She has since been laid to rest in accordance with Islamic rites.
During the visit, Alhaji Olurotimi presented a condolence letter on behalf of the NOA Director-General, Mallam Issa Onilu, to the Oloffa’s Chief of Staff, Alhaji Salaudeen Oyewoye.
In his remarks, the NOA State Director expressed deep sympathy and solidarity with the royal family.
“Our heartfelt sympathies and prayers are with His Royal Majesty during this emotional time. We urge His Majesty to find comfort in Allah’s grace, as Alhaja lived a fulfilling life, witnessed her children’s success, and reached an admirable age,” he said.
He prayed for Allah’s mercy on her soul, asking that her grave be filled with light, her sins forgiven, and her soul granted Aljannat Firdaus.
