Ahead of the September 21 Local Government election in Kwara, Dr. Kamil Akorede, a stalwart of the All Progressives Congress (APC) from Ilere ward, Ifelodun Local Government, has once again demonstrated his commitment to the party’s success by donating more campaign materials to the Ifelodun APC Candidate, Hon. Abdulrasheed Femi Yusuf.
This latest gesture follows his earlier donation of over 500 caps last month.
Dr. Akorede emphasized that his support is a testament of his loyalty to the party and the leadership of the party, particularly Governor AbdulRahaman Abdulrazaq, who has shown remarkable dedication to youth development and societal progress.
“This is to make the campaign season stress-free,” he quipped. “I will still do more; it’s to show our commitment to Gov. Abdulrazaq that we appreciate all he’s doing for the youth and our society. We’ll ensure APC emerges victorious at all levels.”
Hon. Femi Yusuf, the Ifelodun Local Government Chairmanship Candidate, expressed his gratitude for the gesture, noting that, “It is less than a month since you surprised us with countless caps and materials; we appreciate this too. You have a special place in our hearts, and we will do this together. Thank you.”
Hon. AGF Salahuddeen, member representing Omupo Constituency at the Kwara State House of Assembly, also showed his appreciation to Dr. Akorede’s consistent support, saying, “The party structure is aware of this and will never take it for granted.”
