
Islamic Cleric warns against illegal inheritance

An Islamic Cleric, Sheikh Yahyah Danmaiduka has stressed the need for rightful people to have entitlements to properties of deceased.
According to him, those entitled to assets are the father, mother and children of the deceased , warning family members of the deceased not to inherit properties illegally and allow the children of the deceased to suffer.
While delivering a brief sermon at the fidau of the late retired Permanent Secretary of the Kwara State Civil Service, Alhaji Shuaib Tunde Aremu, Sheikh Damaiduga warned those that inherited properties of deceased people illegally to return them to the rightful children of the deceased.
He explained that the children and wife could share family members willingly from the properties without forcing them to do so.
Also speaking, another Islamic cleric, Sheikh Abdulganiyu Zoro Two, extolled the virtues of late Shuaib Tunde Aremu, saying that he spent his life and time on the propagation of Islam, especially in the construction of mosques.
The Chief Imam of Iponrin Community, Sheikh Sakariyah Anafi had earlier led other Imams in the fidau for the repose of the soul of late Tunde Shuaib Aremu, praying to Almighty Allah to forgive his misdeeds and make aljanat his final abode.
The Fridau was attended by serving and retired Permanent Secretaries, top government officials, former General Managers of Kwara State Broadcasting Corporation, Radio Kwara, Barrister Mahmud AbdulRaheem, Alhaji Adebowale Adedeji, Management and staff of Radio Kwara where the deceased served as Corporation Secretary and the representative of the Emir of Ilorin who is the Magaji Nda of Ilorin, Alhaji Saliu Woru Mohammed.
