Just In: Aiyedatiwa takes over as Ondo Gov
The acting governor of Ondo state, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has been sworn in as the substantive governor of the state.
Aiyedatiwa’s swearing in was conducted by the Chief Judge of Ondo state following the demise of late governor Rotimi Akeredolu in the early hours of Wednesday
Meanwhile, the Chief Press Secretary to the late former Governor of Ondo State Governor, Richard Olatunde has resigned from office.
He said his resignation was inched on the untimely death of his principal, Rotimi Akeredolu.
Also, the Special Adviser to the late former governor on Union matters and special duties, Dare Aragbaye has also resigned his appointment.
In a letter written to the Secretary to the State Government, Aragbaye cited the passing of the late former governor as reason behind his resignation.
