Kwara Assembly to screen KWSIEC nominees on Thursday

Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq of Kwara today forwarded nominees for screening and confirmation as Chairman and Members of Kwara State Independent Electoral Commission KWSIEC.
This is contained in a Message from the Governor addressed to Speaker, Engineer Yakubu Salihu and read before his colleagues during today’s plenary
The nominees are Okala Baba from Ilorin West as Chairman, Fredric Sabi Abel Baruten, Engineer Hassan Taiye Salam Oyun, Gbadeyan Gbadura Yomi Ekiti Ndama Al-Hassan Edu, Saka Baliqees Kehinde Ilorin South, Engineer Abdullahi Jenat Amdat Ilorin East would serve as members of Commission
Governor Abdulrazaq said their nominations is in accordance with section One Nine Two subsection One to Five of the Constitution having qualified with necessary skills and experience to carry out the duties of their respective positions.
The Speaker, therefore directed the nominees to appear before the House for screening tomorrow at Ten O’clock in the morning and charged them to submit Thirty-five copies of their Credentials to office of the Clerk before close of work today
