The Owa Lobo of Obbo-Ile in Ekiti Local Government Area of Kwara State, Oba Rufus Adebayo, the Akamo-Ekun the first says the Community will not relent in its Communal efforts to complement the developmental process of the Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq led administration.
Oba Adebayo in a chat with Newsmen at Obbo-Ile pledged the support of his people to the present administration just as he called for the comprehensive renovation of the inaccessible township road eroded by gully erosion to alleviate the suffering of the people.
The Royal Father also called on the government to find lasting solution to the perennial water shortage affecting the community adding that though there exists a reliable water works constructed in 1976 that require big pumping engine.
He explained that the State Commissioner for Water Resources and his team visited the water works in 2022 to proffer solution to the community water problem.
Oba Adebayo Akamo-Eku the first who described Governor Abdulrazaq as a listening and people friendly person stated that the moribund Boreholes overhead tanks and Bi-water Reservoirs that serves the Water works requires repairs especially the welding of the leakages.
The Owa Lobo of Obbo-Ile noted that the reticulation points from the Reservoirs and overheads tanks will serve the community adequately urging Governor Abdulrazaq to assist the Community in this regards.
