The management of Kwara State Polytechnic is following in the footsteps of His Excellency Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq in legacy projects and this is evident in the various state-of-the-art edifices in the prestigious ivory tower in the last five years.
Commissioned by Governor AbdulRazaq, the Kwara State Polytechnic patient-centric Diagnostic Centre facility is one of the most outstanding edifices in the institution, serving the staff, students and residents of Kwara.
Expertly staffed, the Diagnostic Centre is equipped with modern health equipment including digital Ultrasound and ECG machines. Through the iconic office of its Coordinator, Dr. Mrs. Rukoyat Ayo Uthman, you can monitor the staff-patient activities through CCTV.
The CCTV has not only helped the Coordinator of the Diagnostic Centre in monitoring the staff-patient activities for efficiency but has also enabled her to secure the modern medical equipment stationed in each of the rooms of the Diagnostic Centre.
Solar-powered, the high-tech Kwara State Polytechnic Diagnostic Centre, has various rooms where crucial tests are carried out including the Hematology department where patients’ blood and blood-producing organs are scientifically examined.
Commenting on the successful completion of the state-of-the-art Diagnostic Centre Dr. Mrs. Rukoyat Uthman thanked His Excellency Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for giving the ivory tower an enabling environment to thrive.
The Coordinator also commended the Rector, Dr Abdul Jimoh Mohammed under whose leadership Kwara State Polytechnic is shattering glass ceilings and leading while its peers follow.
