Kogi guber poll: APC campaign council denies involvement in political crisis in the state

Kogi State All Progressives Congress Governorship Campaign Council has denied involvement in political imbroglio in the State
Spokesperson of the Council, Prince Kingsley Femi Fanwo made this known while addressing newsmen in Ilorin ahead of gubernatorial election slated for Saturday
Prince Fanwo expressed concerns on the recent security operations in Kogi East, particularly in Dekina Local Government Area, where members of the party were arrested without clear reasons.
He emphasized that the nabbed individuals were not involved in any activity against the peace of the state and called for their immediate release.
Prince Fanwo who is Commissioner for Information and Communication also advocated a fair electoral process before during and after the elections
He harped on responsible conduct by law enforcement agencies to avoid punishing innocent citizens needlessly.
Prince Fanwo condemned the tragic murder of an APC member in Kotonkarfe and attributed the murder to individual’s association with the party and called for swift action from security agencies to apprehend the perpetrators and ensure justice for the victim.
