In a significant move towards enhancing safety and community well-being in Irepo/Orelope/Olorunsogo Federal Constituency, the lawmaker representing the constituency in the House of Representatives, Prince Olaide Lateef Mohammed has embarked on installation of solar-powered street lights from Ojude Oba Babaolu to Ile Benya area in Kishi.
This initiative forms a vital part of the federal lawmaker’s broader vision encapsulated in the *”Safe Streets, Happy Homes: A Safer Neighborhood Initiative.”*
According to a statement issued by the lawmaker in Kishi, Oyo state, the illuminated street will facilitate enhanced accessibility, enabling residents to navigate their surroundings with ease during evening hours and stimulate local economic activity.
Prince Olaide Mohammed added that it will also serve as a beacon of safety for pedestrians and motorists alike, mitigating the risks of accidents and criminal activities.
