The Nigeria Correctional Service, Ilorin Custodial Centre has applauded Abuja based legal practitioner and founder of Initiative on Education for Global Growth, Barrister Aiyelabegan Lanre Abdulkadir for gifting some inmates National Business and Technical Examinations Board NABTEB form as scholarship.
In a statement issued by the controller of corrections for assistant controller, Mr Abdullateef Abdulgafar as contained in a letter of appreciation and made available to Journalists in Ilorin on Saturday read thus

We extend our sincere gratitude for your invaluable contribution to our reformation and rehabilitation efforts at the Ilorin Custodial Centre through your INMATES EDUCATION PROJECT. This project, dedicated to providing educational opportunities for inmates in Nigeria, aligns with our mission to positively impact society.
As a government agency entrusted with the crucial responsibility of effecting positive change in our community, we wholeheartedly appreciate your organization’s commendable and unprecedented support to our facility. Your assistance is instrumental in our pursuit of fostering positive change within the correctional system, and for this, we say thank you.
On behalf of the management and staff of the Ilorin Custodial Centre, I am directed to express our profound gratitude and appreciation for your philanthropic gesture. We also acknowledge the timely delivery of the NABTEB FORMS, which will contribute significantly to the educational empowerment of our inmates.
They however urged other well meaning Nigerians to tow the path of Barrister Aiyelabegan who is also the chairman of the Kwara para Athletics Association, towards identifying with inmates for effective rehabilitation and reformation for a better and crime free society
