Senator Saliu Mustapha mourns Alhaji Hamidu Erubu

The Senator representing Kwara Central Senatorial District in the National Assembly, Mallam Saliu Mustapha has commiserated with the Erubu family over the passage of their patriarch, Alhaji Hamidu Gambari Erubu, MFR, CON who died at the age of 96.
In a statement issued via his official X handle, Mustapha who is the Turaki of Ilorin, described late Alhaji Hamidu as a public administrator whose contributions to the educational sector, public administration, and community development in Nigeria were profound and far-reaching.
He affirmed that the legacy of the late technocrat and his values will continue to inspire and guide many generations to come.
Mustapha therefore condoled the entire illustrious Erubu family of Ilorin Emirate, particularly Professor Binta Sulyman of the Kwara State University and her siblings on the glorious passage of their patriarch.
He said “ As we mourn his departure from this mortal realm, I urge the family to take solace in the knowledge that Alhaji Hamidu Gambari Erubu’s life was one of immense impact and exemplary leadership.
“ It is my prayer that Allah (SWT) grants him Al-Jannah Firdaus and provides his family, friends, and the entire community of Ilorin, the fortitude to bear this immense loss”.
