Unionist wants Tinubu to tackle Nigeria’s problems holistically

Nigerians have again been enjoined to have strong faith and renewed hope in President Bola Tinubu’s led government to deliver its mandate and electoral promises.
A Public Affairs Analyst, Comrade John Fashikun who gave the charge on Thursday in Ilorin while answering questions on a Radio Kwara interactive programme “Gbagede Oro”, harped on the need for government to address the various issues affecting the Nation holistically.
Comrade Fashikun who is the former Chairman SSANU University of Ilorin chapter also urged the government to prioritize the welfare of citizens in its programmes, saying that the suffering of the masses must be ameliorated to reduce the untold hardship.
The Union leader also stressed the need to formulate policies and embark on programmes that would cushion the hardship that would follow the removal of subsidy from fuel, saying that palliative measures must be put in place.
The Guest urged the people to respect those in authority and pray for them to succeed while the government on its part should provide necessary amenities for the people.
Comrade Fashikun applauded Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq for his people oriented programmes and projects urging him not to relent in meeting the needs of the people of Kwara State.
Callers on the programme called on the people to be patience with the government to get it footing.
